Fishing and Fun in the Park
Cast a line and join us for the 10th Annual Fishing & Fun in the Park on Saturday, September 26 at Lehigh Parkway (Iron Bridge) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This community fishing event is all about bringing people together for a fun, inclusive day centered around fishing and enjoying the park.
Hosted by the City of Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation and the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living, this free, inclusive event offers a relaxed and welcoming day focused on fishing, activities, and spending time together in the park.
What to Expect:
• Fishing activities for all ages and abilities
• Arts, crafts, and oversized games hosted by LVCIL
• Activities from City of Allentown departments
• Community partners from across the Lehigh Valley

Fishing and Fun In The Park is BACK!
Join us for the 8th Annual Fishing and Fun in the Park event on Saturday, September 28th at Lehigh Parkway, Iron Bridge from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Hosted by the City of Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation and The Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living, this event offers a day of inclusive and accessible outdoor fun for all ages and abilities.
Event Highlights:
LVCIL Arts, Crafts, and Oversized Games
City of Allentown Departments with activities for everyone
Community Partners from around the Lehigh Valley
Fishing: No fishing license is required for the event!
Food Vendors will be on site offering refreshments for purchase.
